By consenting to receive text messages from Cookie And Us LLC doing business as Set And Forget, you agree to the following terms.
Program Description
Set And Forget sends transactional SMS/MMS messages on behalf of our small-business clients to callers who interact with our AI phone receptionist. Messages include booking links and directions to the business that callers request during a phone call. Appointment confirmations and reminders are handled separately through each business’s own scheduling system (such as Square) and are not part of this SMS program.
Opt-In
You may opt in to receive text messages by verbally requesting a text during a phone call with one of our AI receptionists.
You are not required to opt in to SMS as a condition of purchasing any service.
How the Verbal Opt-In Works (Detailed)
Set And Forget operates AI phone receptionists for small-business clients. SMS consent is collected exclusively during live, inbound phone calls — never via web form, web checkbox, keyword opt-in, or third-party list. The flow:
- You dial the business’s published phone number and reach the Set And Forget AI receptionist.
- You verbally request booking help or directions during the conversation.
- The receptionist asks you verbatim: “Can I text you a booking link at this number?” — or, for directions: “Want me to text the address?”
- The receptionist proceeds only if you give explicit verbal confirmation (“yes”, “sure”, “please do”, etc.). Ambiguous or negative responses cancel the SMS path.
- Each consent event is logged in our database with your phone number in E.164 format, an ISO 8601 timestamp, and the Vapi call SID for that call. Consent logs are retained for 12 months.

The following is a verbatim transcript excerpt from a representative call demonstrating steps 3–4 above:
Receptionist: “Great, I can help you book a facial. Can I text you a booking link at this number?”
Caller: “Yes please.”
Receptionist: “Sending it now. You should see the text in a few seconds.”
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your interactions. Typical volume is 1-2 messages per phone call.
Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Set And Forget is not responsible for any charges from your carrier.
Opt-Out
You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any text message you receive from us. You will receive a one-time confirmation that you have been unsubscribed. After opting out, you will no longer receive text messages from us unless you opt in again.

Supported Carriers
Service is available on all major US carriers including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and Sprint. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

We may update these terms at any time. Continued receipt of messages after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
